This department aids in the diagnosis of certain conditions, in addition to the suggestion of therapeutic schemes to follow.  This department carries out the following studies:

• Conventional radiology such as simple X-rays
• Gastrointestinal track imaging with barium
• Urographic studies such as excretory urography and cystouretrographies
• Percutaneous and/or endoscopic cholangiography
• All types of arteriographic studies, including that of the aorta, renal vessels, mesenteric, femoral vessels, etc.
• Flebography – the most common that being of the legs
• Doppler Ultrasonography for the analysis of obstructed vessels
• Heart ultrasonography
• Mammography for the opportune detection of breast cancer, complemented by ultrasonography
• Full-body helicoidal computed tomography
• Magnetic resonance imaging of the neck, chest, abdomen and skeletal muscles
• Cholangiopancreatography by magnetic resonance imaging
